Can you explain step one? I’m confused on pushing the tab till it clears the barrel. Do I pull the emergency tab all the way?

Recently got a Aimgain Style GT Wing and need help on how to figure out popping out these panels the right way and the easiest way. need to mount the wings and drill through the trunk but can’t access the inside without learning how to remove these panels. any help is much appreciated
