LOL that topic has been beat enough. I'm not really trying to push anyone away from BMW MT, it was just my own experience with them. That being said i agree at the end of the day i still love driving MT better than Auto. I think for me it comes down to how i want to apply it. Do i want to...
I made a video coding my car with a few additional fixes for the headunit as well. I've done this with my M2 Competition as well. Its super easy to do and very easy to reverse.
Keep in mind with the microchip shortage, car prices are going up. Even on models that dont sell as well. I've seen some people get 2.0 for as low as 42k selling price but this was earlier in the year.
I think negotiating is going to be your best bet and just willing to walk away if you...
Yeah i think the BK is whats hurting you the most. I'd say build your credit a bit. You can shoot it up easily if you open multiple lines of credit and then make around 200$ worth of purchases on each within the first 6 months and then pay it off immedietly. I shot my credit from 620 to my...
not the best "test" for sure, but it speaks volumes both about the S2000 as an amazing platform even after all these years, and the Supra being such a new platform being able to keep up against an arguably better driver (more experience on that track)
MSRP: 56k
Sale Price: 51k

I normally wouldnt take such a hit on trade in, however the decision was either have a car parked in the garage that i cant drive due to...
Definitely recommend Titan 7 wheels. Good strong wheel which shouldnt break the bank. They also fit with our brakes.
Tires will be your best friend at Autocross. Remember, its not actually about the TW but about how fast the tires can heat up, I run Dunlop Z3 on my main Autocross car and...
I've only ever received negative comments on facebook groups. Just yesterday i had a guys in a very ncie Hawkeye STI, walk up to me and pushed his IG on me for car photos.
Personally i'd go with the HKS HAS kit. You get the same adjustability as coilovers but you get to retain your adaptive suspension. Should only be about 800$ ish but could be out of stock.
I'm curious what cars you came from before the Supra? Mine is pretty confidence inspiring for a stock...
He's assuming the Supra doesnt sell because it doesnt come with a MT, when in reality the amount of people who choose not to buy it specifically because its only AT is such a small part of the community who can even afford the car in the first place.
While the Z4 is a regular production car for BMW, the Supra isnt for Toyota. The Z4 currently also wouldnt exist without Toyota as BMW had stopped production of the last Z4 back in 2016 and had no plans to bring it back.
Halo cars also dont mean a car will stay in production. Theres been...
technically BMW does this with their M-cars, and while yes, they have a full lineup on that platform, but you only see that M car for 3-4 years before they move onto the next platform.
I totally see Toyota making the Supra a super limited run.
Keep in mind values will drop now but just like the F87 M2C, the Supra is a limited run. Production ends in 2025 and that is when values will start going up as people will start to realize what a good successor to the MKIV this car actually is.
Thats a VERY good point.
Surprisingly enough i think you guys get the M2 cheaper than we do (relativly) largley due to the option to actually option out the car and remove things (power seats, smaller brakes, different interior packages). Average M2C price is 65k here in the US, but i've seen...
