  1. People with 21’ Supras that have some oil consumption with high miles

Mine uses roughly a quart every 1,500 to 2,000. Is the general consensus that the problem was worst with the ā€˜21s?
  2. Oil Change Jack side

Yep… 4 1/2ā€ (three times 1.5ā€) is more than enough room for me. That said, I am on the lean side at 6’0ā€ and 160 pounds.
  3. Oil Change Jack side

I drive the car up onto these ramps that I made with scrap 2x8 lumber. Car stays perfectly level, and no jacking required.
  4. Renaissance Red 2.0 vs Stratosphere

My first Supra — in 1985 — was red. So I was set on red. And red looks AMAZING on a slightly overcast day. But in the bright Sun I couldn’t help but see some pink or orange or whatever in it. I just didn’t like it. Anyone else ever notice that?
  5. Sunshades?

I bought the Covercraft UV11657SV for $73. It fits perfectly and works great.
  6. Supra property tax outta control.

I got a ticket for reckless driving on the ICC in MD. Cops are the same as everyone else — some reasonable, som assholes. For what it’s worth, I find that state police — regardless of the state — are generally not as reasonable as county cops.
  7. Supra property tax outta control.

That and their roughly 9% income tax compared to 6% in VA!
  8. Supra property tax outta control.

    Ditto… around $2k!
  9. If I had a dollar for every ____ that wanted a piece of the Supra…

I had fun with a Cayman GTS 4.0 last weekend :).
  10. DIY ramp project?

I made something similar when I bought my 2021 A91. I used waste lumber from a nearby construction site… so the cost was $0. They work very well, but they are heavy af, lol., whic
  11. Washington DC Area - MSRP + $695

I’m in Northern VA where the ā€œmarket adjustmentā€ for Supras is at least $5,000. But one dealer — Fitzgerald — sells them at MSRP plus $695. This is a great dealership that’s always fair on pricing. When I bought my 2021 Supra (Mar 2021) they were selling them at $4,500 below MSRP. If you...
  12. Oil change at dealership question

Interesting. So I did the oil change. The car is too low for even low slope ramps. So I just drove it up onto two 2x6s, which worked great! And by the way, I agree that a little oil must have been left in the pan as I refilled with only 6 liters and it showed full. Anyway, I used the rip-off...
  13. Oil change at dealership question

I’m tempted to do it myself as I’m certain the dealer cares less about my Supra than I do. Plus here’s an interesting question. Since the entire Toyota fleet has one car with a BMW frame, what are the chances that their lifts are equipped with the rectangular Jack Pads that should be used...
  14. What did you do to your Supra today?

What is your tint level on the car? I'm trying to decide between 35 and 55
