Thanks for the responses. I thought I may have missed something, but hearing that other owners confirm that there is no glovebox light reassures me of my sanity. I called Toyota and the representative was not helpful, she just confirmed that the Owner's Manual states that a light comes on...

My glovebox is not illuminated. The Owner's Manual it says that a light switches on when the compartment is opened. I tried looking for one and don't see a light anywhere. Have other owners noticed this? Is it a country specific feature, and not available in the US market?
