  1. CA Supra owners and cat back exhausts

+1. I have race ramps, and I do like them better than a normal jack for doing non-wheel stuff, however they are expensive and in retrospect I wish I had just got a QuickJack.
  2. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

I finally saw one last month for the first time... I've literally seen more 300zx on the road in the same amount of time
  3. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

Arguably, you're paying an extra 8K on the Supra for very little in this case, just "limited edition" and a vinyl stripe and (according to most people) a sub-par spoiler. The real cross shop here is 58K 3.0 Premium Supra vs 63K Nismo Z.
  4. What did you do to your Supra today?

This just continues to make me mad as it highlights how much space there is yet how little they do with it. Would kill for tachometer or blind spot indicators in the HUD...
  5. What did you do to your Supra today?

Thanks - was curious because it looks different than the others for sale as it includes the bottom of the tray (ie: matches the OEM part exactly) while most the others are just open on the bottom - maybe they are just covers that go on top instead of replacing?
  6. What did you do to your Supra today?

    Nice. Which brand is that?
  7. Replacement wings for 45th anniversary edition?

I'll chime in as another weirdo who likes the 45th Anniversary wang. I prefer modest and tastefully understated wang vs big, showy wang. Anyways, has anyone managed to mount one of these to a non-45th? I figure it might be possible to get one of these for cheap (possibly free, lol) if anyone...
  8. Drive Assist Package - worth it?

Yea agree with this - it should be standard. I tend to still do over the shoulder checks, but I can only see a tiny bit out of the passenger porthole (enough to tell if there is a car there) and if I have a passenger then I can't see jack shit.
  9. Drive Assist Package - worth it?

Do NOT blindly rely on this, it often does not pick up the curb. Sometimes it does, but at least around where I live, it only seems to pick it up like half the time. If I relied on this feature, I'd probably have destroyed the front lip by now. Wish the car had a front parking camera. Regarding...
  10. Everyday Drive Nismo Z vs. Darkhorse vs. Zupra

Probably isn't locked because it's the same dinosaur 2009 ECU used in the 370Z. joking... or maybe not? lol
  11. Toyota confirmed 3 sports car lineup: Toyota exec wants to bring back Celica, MR2

This. They care about making money, not lineage. They will do whatever market research tells them to do as far as naming goes. I mean, just look at Ford and the Mustang... now the name is on a fucking SUV lol
  12. Brake Fluid service @ 10k miles????

Just got mine done, as the notification popped up at roughly 36 months (presumably since the car was built, since I bought it May 2021) I went to my local independent shop that is familiar with Supras as the nearby dealerships are either of questionable competence or have other known hassles...
  13. Software Developers? Cluster/Screen dev

I am not familiar with car software specifics, but I highly suspect those labels are hard coded into the headunit software/firmware or whatever, making it very hard to modify as the code running the headunit probably needs to be signed. The data values displayed come in via inputs which can be...
  14. All-new 2023 Nissan Z makes world debut!

Are they going to build more than 12 of them a year?
  15. Lane keep

Well I partially (I think) fixed it... used the oldest fix in the book: smack it (the underside of the steering column) a few times. Now it actually vibrates the wheel again although it seems weaker than I remember and still louder than before but not as loud as it was yesterday. That said maybe...
  16. Lane keep

Did this ever get figured out? I am pretty sure I have this happening now, except I have the OEM wheel and have never messed with it or modded. It no longer vibrates at all and just makes a noise instead when it should be kicking in. I honestly don't care that much and could just turn off the...
  17. Lets talk about Faraday cage key storage

Thanks, interesting read. For anyone interested, you can find tons of discussion about this around BMW forums if you search "bmw key fob sleep" on google. Can also test this out yourself by doing the following: 1. Lock the car 2. Place the key fob on the mirror so it remains motionless 3. Wait...
  18. Brake fluid - dealership or independent shop?

Cool thanks for the responses, will reach out to mShop. 👍
  19. Brake fluid - dealership or independent shop?

I'm getting close to 36 months which is time to do the brake fluid. How hard of job is this? Any issues going to a good independent shop vs dealership? If I go with dealership, I'd probably make the somewhat long trip down to Toyota of Puyallup as @GoldenEye recommended them and they sound...
  20. Lets talk about Faraday cage key storage

I have this one, which is expensive (read: overpriced) but is the only one like it I could find. Has two compartments which is nice for organization since we have two cars. One car parks in the garage, so the car that is parked outside has its fob in here, along with the spare fobs for each car...
