Hey all, Iāve been getting a lot of ābuy 3 tires get 1 freeā promotions from Toyota dealers in my area and am wondering if this is a deal I should take (I do need new tires).
Considering the Supra probably has the most expensive OEM tires of all Toyotas on sale, maybe this is a decent deal? Or...
Hey all, I recently moved down to San Diego and am wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a dealer that does good work on Supras? Iād like to cash in my second free oil change
Iāve been dealing with this for a while. It does seem to me like this issue happens after a large differential slip happens during a drive (like every time I come out of a steep driveway at a sharp angle to avoid scraping, such that the car is on 3 wheels for a moment).
Today the car stalled on...
Iāll add a no-abnormal-burn data point now that my ā21 (11/20 build date) has passed 5k miles. I have driven the car hard from the first test drive at 7 miles, no easy break in. Additionally the car is still on the factory fill 0w-20. I plan on getting an oil change with more 0w-20 very soon...
Iāve had warranty work done before at Cabe and had a pretty good experience. Their online appointment system has no idea what the Supra techās schedule is though (guess how I know ). So you should call ahead and ask when the Supra tech is in and when you can come in.
Parking lights are for when you are parked on a dark street and donāt want to get hit. You turn on the side facing the road and they remain on until you turn them off (not sure about the extremes, like the battery getting low). Traditionally parking lights are supposed to be low power draw so...
I have a similar experience to you. My car/tires only have 2000 miles on them but with traction control off, the car hooks pretty hard in most gears unless I start off doing a brake stand or something. Definitely not spinning the tires when slamming the throttle while at 45mph.
Update, just got my car back from the shop (took 9 days). They replaced the differential lock/temperature computer (83294-WAA03), the differential lock actuator motor (41400-WAA01), and an o-ring (90118-WA286). After replacing all the parts, the transmission temperature read as 32,000 degrees...
Has anyone else run into this issue with correct tire pressures? This message just started appearing for me when my car hit about 100 miles on the odometerā¦
Edit: āRear axle differential lock reducedā for SEO since I couldnāt find this thread from Google ;)
