Sounds like you know what you are getting into. I've owned my 3.0 for over 50k miles. First thing I did was get an MMI for Android Auto. Easy to install, works great, even has wireless AA. Dual climate sync, can't say I've even noticed it, but maybe that's more personal than I think. No outside...
The levels mentioned above by @ky.supra are on level ground with the car running at idle. I'd recommend while the vehicle is warm for the most accuracy
Interesting, I can see the old pump number on Toyotas parts site. Maybe it is different for EU:

Along with the new one: https://autoparts.toyota.com/products/product/pump-assy-oil-15100waa03
Yes turning the car off for a bit can get the function to work, apparently that has to do with oil temperature. You can test this by trying to measure the level again once the oil temp hits around 97°C. Either way, the pump is not working as intended and I plan to keep the car for a long time...
Interesting, how do they know that's what pump is in your vehicle? My understanding is 15100-WAA01 is in 2021 and below, at least in the US. But the pump is inside the oil pan, so I'm not sure how they could tell you which pump you have without taking the car apart.
Went through the process to get the oil level read issue resolved under warranty. When the vehicle is warm, ~100°C oil temp or higher, oil read through iDrive would fail at 20% complete. There were no codes or notable warnings when this happens.
I did some research and found that a lot of...
I thought about paint, my biggest hesitation was that it's in your hands so much it might wear easily from contact. But I'm trying to keep it cheap, if I start painting it might get pricey. So we'll see how the math works out
Right now it's just a dyed plastic so that limits colors. It's really all about if it's cost effective to replicate. The more interest there is, the better the chance I can make every color. Except red 😉
Hey all. I was salty that regardless of your paint color, the key fob only comes with a red stripe on it. I designed a piece to replace it for my key. This prototype is good enough to satisfy me, but if there is interest I could figure out production cost and make more colors.
Don't have access to my car in the winter, that picture is from an old video, but there are only 4 ways to orient the spring. Try them all. You can flip it around backwards, I believe that's what I had to do
Depends on what your goals are, but I think the Borla is great if you want more sound than stock and a valve to switch to "quiet mode". Loud when you want it, quiet when you don't. There is a lot of sound deadening catalytic converter, so it's generally not obnoxiously loud imo.
If you even...
Has anyone with this issue measured tire runout themselves or used a dial indicator on their wheels to test symmetry. If not, this is entirely bench racing. Get some conclusive data
