I had mine wired exactly like this diagram so it only turns on as a 4th brake light. Got a small flat pin connector, soldered a 20awg wire to it, and tapped into 3rd brake light. Sorry bad picture.

Is the apple carplay full screen or does it have black bars on the side? Cause I know bimmertech offers a free full screen apple carplay with their install.
