Do is make sure the car has stock flash tune. They made me go to toyota to get stock tune in and bring in the paperwork and...
they just implemented this where they check if the ecu is tampered even though all the monitors are ready you will still fail. I had to go to go toyota todo flash stock update. Best way to avoid it is buy another ecu tune it and enjoy keep the stock one as is. Every year pass the inspection with...
I agree, only if i known that paying that much for tune and then i have to go through all this bull crap. I would’ve never messed with it. But alot of people going through it no one brings it up.
Still no luck passing the inspection. Put the car back to stock tune. Had all the monitors ready. I guess the firmware doesn’t match with the oem one. Unfortunately the only way to pass is bring it back to toyota and have them lock the dme to factory settings and bring it in.
yeah man im trying to save $1800 to femto again. Or i am not doing the tune anymore if they want me to go to the dealer. I will try to play dumb and be like i fixed the issue i had catless downpipe which i changed.

should i just tell them the car ecu is stock but i had the downpipe which i replaced and caused me to fail. I dont really want to lock my ecu. ?? then it will need to be resent to femto. Was the inspector really mean? Or he was okay?
