Owners manual explicitly states to not use anything over E25, so I’d say the juries out on longevity of parts if you want to use E85. Guaranteed they don’t design for the quantity of ethanol in the fuel supply in Europe like we get here in the U.S.

Auto Start-Stop is on because of that extremely tiny efficiency gain. 1 MPG on the EPA test translates into $$$$ at the end of the day for Toyota. Same reason they wont update to include wind deflectors, however small they might impact efficiency
