I have had a catted AA DP on my car for well over 2 years now with no codes. My car passes NY inspection every year without issues. I do run ecutek but that should not matter here as nothing is coded out. I would double check the wiring for the O2 sensors and make sure something didnt get...
Make sure the sensor is actually plugged in. Unplug it and plug it back in. Then clear the codes and see if it comes back.
Many of us have had our AA pipes in for a long time without a single issue.
This dude could have criminal charges over this. All because he probably couldnāt be patient enough to get on a proper tuners schedule. Now heās gonna be known in a very niche world as someone who charges back. I hope heās alright with paying cash upfront.
Everyone is used to Lego car parts and...
Fair point. You definitely need to do the procedure correctly. Idk itās some what appealing to me even at a slightly higher cost just because thereās less crap to deal with and I feel like I would be cursing a lot less with injectors then trying to get a PI plate installed. Personal opinion...
Disagree the removal tool is like 130 bucks and places rent them for a fraction of that. Newer cars the DI arenāt seized into the motor so the job is overall much easier. I believe the new injectors come with the seal so you donāt need the seal tool.
There are a lot of wires and hoses connected to that IM+plate. Swapping a pump and some injectors is way less complicated than having to deal with a PI plate, reflex etc. These cars arenāt a K24 where you can have the IM off in 10 minutes.
Just to be clear Iām not saying one way or another is...

Doesnt change the fact that they are all installed wrong. Some racing orgs have really good tech inspections and some dont. Most of those belts were takata:

I do not believe that is correct. FIA (prior to 2023) didnāt state an angle. But they did say you must follow the harness manufacturers instructions for mounting. I canāt tell what Hans type that btcc driving is wearing but I linked a pdf for the hybrid pro...
Call a reputable cage builder and ask them. They will say itās not a good idea for a wide range of reasons.
Just because there are thousands of people doing this doesnāt make it a good idea. Many of these bars are only rated or tested to DOT standards(if they even test them), which is not even...
Agreed, none of these bars are safe for harness bar mounting. On top of that using a harness without roll hoop isnt safe either.
For those of you that are doing this please read the following...
Im not interested in getting in between public beef but customers read this stuff and then make a judgement. Look at some of the vendors here around tuning if youd like to see an example of that lol.
I didnt, largely because I used to race and I know that Jackie has more important things to...
Id recommend hiring someone that does PR if you are gonna ask for info and then act like that. Its such a terrible take for a company to make. Especially on the subject of pads. Anyone that has ever been on track knows brake feel is completely subjective. I think there is a bit of a difference...
If itās not in the laws itās kinda fair game. That being said there are to many NIMBYs that are trying to close airports down after they move near one. Same with race tracks so I understand peoples concern. GA is already hurting/dying.
We get annoyed when people use hangars without having an airplane because most places have a wait list several years long. During that wait time your bird is sitting out in the elements slowly deteriorating. Airplanes donāt do well sitting outside in the elements, paint gets destroyed...
