Any updates on how it's running, power numbers, tuning? I'm thinking about picking up this turbo this summer if things get smoothed out. As far as I know, you and the owner of IPOS are the only two running this turbo on 2.0 Supras currently.

Found this today because my local Toyota dealership (Grieco in East Providence, RI) tried the $362 oil change on me. I talked them down to $150 (amazing how that works), but shame on these scummy dealers. This was my third time at their service department as well, and now my last.

Are you still running just a JB4 without a custom Jesse map? And you can tell that much of a difference from stock running JB4 and downpipe?

This is mighty impressive. Kevin, do you work for IPOS or have some affiliation? I would be very interested in a kit for 2.0s that can get those kind of numbers. I have a catless DP and a RaceChip, but have been eyeing that IPOS turbo if we could figure out a better tuning alternative.

Same. I went in looking at 3.0, got a fully loaded 2.0 for 42,5, $5,500 under MSRP. My payment is just over $100/month. I sometimes wish I had a six cylinder for the sound/highway pulls, but my 2.0 is more than quick enough with a few mods and brings a smile to my face every time I look at it.

I think the front/back weight balance is a perfect 50/50, though. That might be what he's referring to.

I can clarify. I don't think for your application you'll need a custom map. You just need to purchase the license and stage 1-3 maps, download the app, and get the dongle; and you're good to go. The app has all the options already included in that I was talking about in my last post. Also...

Yeah, I can't comment on this as I've never tried sport + mode, but if it works for you, xHP is probably not worth it.

The maps are just that: maps that you can switch to. But there are also accessory options that you can flash on top of the map as well such as starting in 2nd gear like you asked about. I don't know about adding farts, though. My car does that in general.

Sorry, xHP is a transmission reflash for the ZF8 speed. I should have been clearer. You purchase maps and then a dongle, and you can do it in your driveway in 15 minutes. Totally changes how the car drives. Shifts are lightning fast now -- no loss of boost between shifts, etc. Definitely...

I dunno but you should get xHP. It's been my favorite mod thus far.

We appreciate you doing the research for us all! :patriot: If a company could develop a specific turbo kit to the 2.0 to get us safely into the 400 hp range, I think it would be a hit.

You don't need to with this turbo, as it's only slightly bigger than stock, but if you wanted to go big turbo, those would be a must. I think this turbo is rated at like 500 hp on the B48, which is probably unsafe daily territory and you're not going to be getting there without a flash tune...

Sorry, I mean for this turbo, you need a special downpipe to match the turbo outlet.

I think you need a different downpipe for the turbo. Did you pick one up as well?

Good luck, man! I think the 2.0 would be perfect around the 370-400 whp range.
