Lately the vibration is much less noticeable even at 70-80 range.
I didn't really do anything to the car so idk what happened.
Not complaining, just odd that improvement occurred without any intervention lol
Went from the eos took how license plate holder to the platypus tow hook license plate holder. The platylus is more flush with the front bumper creating a cleaner look
I tried reading that article in detail but I had to tap out lol.
The gist that I'm getting from the article is that just because there's vibrations felt in the steering wheel there's nothing wrong with the car
That's...good enough for me.
Ever since I put the stock Michelins back on for the spring the vibrations have been much less. Just barely feel it now and what I can feel I'm already really used to
I came from a 2016 wrx that was manual transmission. Enjoyed that car until engine blew on me.
Ngl sometimes I think about going to the manual supra but I invested in ppf and ceramic coating and I've been making payments on this car since October already.
I miss shifting my own gears...
I live in NY. I've only seen 4 supras in person so far, including my own. Three supras from long Island and one supra with a new jersey license plate.
Just a bit of an interesting side note: I work with one of the other supra owners and he's a member of this forum too. He drives a Grey...
I have the nitro yellow but I would've also been happy with turbulence gray.
As far as what colors are common in my area, I've seen exactly four supras in person (including my own).. Two nitro yellows, a silver and one red.
I don't really see them on the road.
Took in my summer wheels for ceramic coating this week. Was ready to put them back on but seems like cold ish ather will stick around for a few more weeks.
Coded out the fake engine noise today with bimmercode. With the help of someone else on this forum cuz I couldn't figure out how to connect the phone at first. (phone said it was paired with the device but it couldn't connect to app at first)
Can't wait to try sport mode later.
Was on the grand central parkway going westbound and saw a red mk5 by laguardia airport. Jersey license plate. He spotted me. Just wondering now if he's also on this website ??
Yea I'm just living with it. My initial worry back when I was investigating this was what if this was some issue that would get worse over time if it's continued to be overlooked.
But I no longer think that's the case.
Idk if this is a dumb theory or not but maybe my vredrestein tires are reacting to the weather? Weather in NY fluctuates; it hasn't been consistently cold since I switched to winter wheels. Yesterday and the other day it was cold and yesterday it was smooth as hell, through 60, 70, 80 mph...
If you're living in New York, someone I know said he got his 2021 supra for msrp at Millennium Toyota dealership in Long Island.
I got my supra at a different dealership and was kinda salty when I heard lol
New mk5 owner. I have the 2022 premium 3.0. Has a little over 1000 miles on it already and I picked this baby up on October 30.
.
Almost everything about the car is the same since pick up except I now have winter wheels on and ceramic coating done.
