Can you lean the seat back a little to lower your head from the roof? Is your seat position lowered all the way? We had an instructor who I’m sure was about your height or taller, and he made it work. I have to lean the seat back just to get the headrest out of my way.

I read the B58 can retain heat for ~36 hours…intentionally to reduce the wear and tear from cold starts. Your car was probably warmer than you thought it was and therefore expected different startup behavior.

I never bothered to update the firmware. I also bent/broke the OBD port tab to make it easy to unplug/plug back in, when needed. The connection is really snug, as is.

I believe mine is at extremely high (after testing “high”). I don’t think I messed with the start/stop, but I also have that bimmercoded to just remember the last setting (so effectively disabled because I don’t like start/stop).

Have you changed your wake sensitivity? I had the same issue. Had to move it to whatever the highest setting is (as in top of the list).

This works in my car, but the included j clips bent and popped off the seat rails as the seats pushed into them. My solution was to remove the metal j clips and zip tie the cargo net to the seat rails. The seats can back into them all they want and nothing pops off now.

This is how I feel about the N/A Porsches I’ve driven. They’re amazing machines, but I can’t imagine having more fun daily with their high rpm n/a engines vs. powerful turbo’d engines. I’d need a week or so to test my theory.

Serious question - FP Green claims 20% “more flow”. This claims 17% “more flow”. How do we know this isn’t going to produce the same underwhelming results? Both brands had/have pretty good reputations.

Definitely - we just have to hope that no tracks concede too much setting some precedent that send it in this direction. In the meantime, I’m onboard with publicly shaming those that move next to racetracks then complain about racetrack noises 😄
