I’m being told by the retailer that there is nothing wrong with the wheel and the holes on the bottom of the wheel are not supposed to have threads. Very confused. I’m not sure why they wouldn’t be threaded. Every install video shows someone screwing the ground into the new wheel with the OEM...

This hole secures the wiring harness' ground screw in place. The harness itself just pops into the mold. With a stripped hole, I can't secure the ground wire without jury-rigging it, and I'm not going to do that on my car with an $800 product that should be plug-and-play with an OEM screw.

I had to return two different $500 Rexpeed steering wheels that had the identical defect - the two tapped holes for the wiring harness screws on the bottom of the wheel were completely stripped out smooth. I ended up buying an $800 wheel from a different retailer. Exact some issue and the wheel...

thanks! One of my next questions was going to be if a 285/35/19 would fit, but I guess it’s got to if you can run a 295/35. Are you positive that setup will fit the T-S5 on your car?

That’s what I took it as. I don’t know anything about offsets but what I’ve read in the last few days and looking at setups online. I don’t understand how that could be because I’ve seen cars running an 11 inch rim with a +35 offset. In theory, a 5mm spacer with a +40 rim should fit as well.

Thanks for the reply! It would be on an aftermarket wheel (19x11 +40). First, Titan 7 said it would hit the strut. I figured a spacer would easily make it fit but they said that it would rub the fender. Confused because I’m seeing photos of the 305/35 on a different wheel with a 35 offset...
