I had pilot sport 4s's on my wrx and the first day it dropped below 30 was the day I went in for a set of x-ice tires. Luckily my streets are cleaned pretty well and I already snow blow out half the alley for my other cars.

I have the tesla for if I really want to go out in an active snow fall. 95% of the time the city has the road clear within a few hours. I don't usually ever have to be somewhere that bad that I need to risk damaging my cars.
