I don't remember. After searching through a lot of writeups I had found something that vaguely talked about it on the supra. But really I just guessed. If it's backwards you get all kind of errors, if it's correct no errors. I'd say just swap them and test again.
Are you sure you have the can hi/lo wired correct? This sounds similar to when I wired in my flex fuel sensor into the canbus and had the hi/lo backwards.

I checked there first, and all the shops in the area I was looking after calling them don't do the bench unlock.
I was hoping to drive to a shop either with the car, or just the dme. Though it's not looking like that will be possible. I'll definitely look back into the Visconti remote unlock.
