  1. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

I would add perhaps event proportions. It's hard to be 100% certain from the crappy screen shots but it does look similar to the FTSe.
  2. Toyota FT-Se Concept could be an MR2 successor

I would add perhaps event proportions. It's hard to be 100% certain from the crappy screen shots but it does look similar to the FTSe.

  5. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

With the next Cayman and Boxster pretty much going in all EV, I think Toyota has a good opportunity steal some buyers. I just wish it would arrived faster than the anticipated time frame.
  6. Toyota Gazoo Racing World Premieres GR GT & GR GT3

It's not the sexiest thing out there but it also isn't ugly. The starting point was function over form. And imo still way better looking than the R35 and NC1.
  7. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

^Same with the Lexus supercar concept. It was planned as an EV but it was reworked as seen with the new larger updated concept and now it will supposedly have some kind of V8.

The article from Bestcar makes no sense about the Celica and MR2 being a merged into a single model. The Toyota executive said in the MotorTrend interview that the Celica is near completion. Now we're learning that the Yaris Frankenstein mid engine test mule (I'm assuming for a new MR2) is...
  11. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

This stuff happens, I mean it is a test mule after all. We're probably years away from a new MR2. I expect we'll see the GT production car soon and maybe the Celica sometime next year.
  12. News, Updates, and Discussions on next-gen A100 Supra

Just a thought, but the initial launch could just be with the 2.0 and a 6 cylinder model joining at a later date.
  13. Toyota Teases GR Line Up: Supra MK6, Celica MK8, MR2 MK4, 86 MK3 and GR GT

Bestcar has been wrong at least half of the time. I still think the AWD 86 concept is the test bed for the next Celica.
