  1. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

Thanks, great video/info! I'll have to get the coolant shipped in so I have this handy for the future. I'll bring it back to the dealer on Monday and bring up everything mentioned here and see what they say. If they can bleed it a few more times for me and get it sorted now, then hopefully if I...
  2. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

No leaks anywhere, I believe they bled the system.
  3. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

The saga continues, gentlemen. So turns out both my low pressure electric coolant pump AND the main mechanical coolant pump failed. Dealer replaced both under warranty - picked the car up a week ago, everything seemed to be back to normal, great. I've put maybe 50 miles on it the past week...
  4. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

Im jealous! Down here where I live in FL it seems my local dealers are a bit inept unfortunately. But, in this circumstance at least after some fight from them they're doing more than just the coolant pump work. They recharged my ac compressor, cleaned up the engine bay, flushed my brakes...
  5. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

Quick update, dealer is now covering the job under the powertrain warranty. Hurray! My wallet is saved. To think I almost foolishly folded and could have been out 2k.. that's new tires money! Thanks to you all for your input, advice and information. I'd buy you all a beer and pizza if I could.
  6. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

Thanks very much, I was brushed off for bringing this up originally but having it in writing somewhere should do me some good. Headed to dealer tomorrow to get this settled..
  7. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

I'm not entirely sure, they just referred to it as a "coolant pump failure". I had a low coolant warning they brushed off about 8 months ago during a regular service, they topped the coolant up and said to keep an eye on it in case I get the warning message again. Which I didn't, even with this...
  8. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

I drive it 4-5 days a week, I just don't go much farther than 20 miles one way at any given point. It's not my commuter.
  9. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

Agreed, shocking to me that it's not. Dealer is going to give me a response as far as fitting it into warranty work on Monday. They've put me in a top trim camry loaner for now, I didn't go full karen mode but I put my foot down and they've extended a more fair solution so far. Fingers crossed...
  10. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

I imagine manufacturers have some kind of grace period/window that can extend slightly beyond the typical period for extraordinary circumstances? Wild to me how a coolant pump isn't considered a part of the drivetrain.. drive without coolant, that'll do the car some good eh
  11. Coolant pump failure at 17k miles, 2023 3.0 PremiumAT

Hey all, Just wanted some feedback on what you'd do in my situation. My coolant pump/water pump failed earlier this week. Noticed my radiator fans blowing harder than usual and then a day after my AC stopped working. Brought it to the dealer and after a few days they diagnosed the coolant pump...
  12. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

Just a fair warning, Toyota Autonation of Fort Myers is no longer selling any Supras at MSRP. I ordered in Feb 22 and (finally) received mine last month at no markup, but they tried swinging a +$10k market adjustment in my face before the deal was done. Anyone who tries to get on the list now...
  13. Does Anyone Know When the 2023 Model Year Goes into Production?

Can you let me know what dealer you're working with? I'm in Florida as well, but have been waitlisted for 7 months now. Beautiful car man, it's exactly how I want mine to be! I bet you must be crazy excited. Congrats!
  14. Does Anyone Know When the 2023 Model Year Goes into Production?

That's a good call - do you have any suggestions on how I can search out of state inventory? Also, nice to see another SWFL here :) Your car is gorgeous, I'm over in the Port Charlotte area and hardly ever see Supras on the road.
  15. Official TURBULENCE GRAY Supra Club Thread

Was this color discontinued for the 2023 model?
  16. Does Anyone Know When the 2023 Model Year Goes into Production?

Have had a deposit down for a turbulence gray premium 3.0 AT down here in Florida since February and still no allocation from my dealer.. told them I'd be happy with the stratosphere blue color too, fingers crossed I can land my butt into one of these cars before I'm old and grey.
  17. Buying new right now?

Can you let me know what dealer you worked with?
  18. Buying new right now?

Yeah, maybe that's an option. I'll have to check with this dealer. They still have my deposit anyway..
  19. Buying new right now?

Ordered a 3.0 premium in turbulence gray/black a few months ago with a dealer, confirmed the exact spec, put a solid deposit down for the order. Dealer reaches out to me a few weeks ago hyping me up saying my Supra is on the way and today was the ETA. Lo and behold, todays the big day and it's...
