MIne has been booked in this AM at my local dealership and they said they would warranty it which is great. The wing mirror isn't moving up and down in the unit either so unless it is the same motor that controls the retracting AND the retraction tilt (correct me if I'm wrong) I'm guessing a...
Mine has just packed up too. Always the passenger side one it seems. It has decided not to fold in and fold out automatically any more. Boo.
Think this has happened due to my washing the car on Saturday. Any ideas what it could be or a fix? Thought a fuse at first but reading this thread it...
Anyone in the South Midlands looking for reputable place: Just had my major service done (plugs, oils) on my 2019 15k for £469.99 at Stratford Upon Avon (Toyota Listers). Apparently head tech there is good with Supras and knowledgeable. So recommend this place with no issues when I took mine in.
How blinkin confusing. Having researched the best way to go about this. I was fed conflicting facts too.
What I understand is that its best to get it serviced annually - this retains the 10 year warranty if done at a Toyota dealership (although I have been also told legally you can have it...
Also consider buying some 3M primer solution - if you wipe some of that on to a surface after you have cleaned it it creates a MUCH better bond with the tape.
Having come from NA cars (M3 v8, Porsches, older TypeRs etc) with induction kits, I'm quite used to the sound on one of them at full chat, whereas a turbo car makes far more interesting sounds. Just great fun. Tbf it makes the drive more exciting.
I'd be tempted to just buy it, fit it...
I'm thinking of using these as you're testimonial is so good. Bit of a drive for me at 2 hours though as I am in the Midlands.
Did you wait for the service to be completed or leave the car with them?
Anyone used Toyota Coventry for servicing - my 2019 14k on clock is looming in April and I like the 10 year warranty thing but personally would rather take it to a specialist who knows the cars (Whifbitz etc). The dilemma.
Keep the Supra!
I bought my A90 outright after owning for quite some time a manual E92 M3 (thats the v8 one), a few Porsche 981's (last of the 6 cylinders) and an original MKIV 1994 Manual.
The A90/A91 still scares me compared to those older cars and they weren't slow by any means.
Porsche...
I make these in my own design and have a set fitted to my own car.
I can create a set for you if needed? Mine are in black plastic polypropylene and thinking of doing them in carbon sheet too.
