I’m really interested in that one. Would you mind posting a few more pics? How’s the fitment and install? How about the rear view? Doesn’t obscure too much I hope.
If you already had it set up before turning the car off yeah. I haven’t tried it without turning the engine on though. Give it a try. You’ll know if it worked. Even if you gotta turn the car on to do it you’ll only be missing a couple of seconds from the first cold start. It’ll stay open once...
Ignore the other guy. I can tell you from experience that it can. You can force it open, closed, or back to stock settings any time you are parked. It will keep whatever settings you used between cycles as well.
You live and you learn.
If you can, run this tune again on the dyno and that same session flash the OTS 93 and compare. That’ll at least give you something to compare your custom tune to.
Without a baseline to compare, this is really just a graph. I would say that they look a little lower than what I would expect with those mods but again, there’s no baseline to compare to so the numbers could be fine.
They really are. I doubt we’ll be getting extra power from PI installed from factory, though. Obviously aftermarket stuff is another story.
I’m happy to be proven wrong though.
I doubt it would be worth it. The Mk7 Golf Rs outside the US also had PI while the ones in the US only had DI. Didn’t really do anything for power but it did keep their valves clean.
The only times flames should be coming out of your car is because you have a catless downpipe and it’s a side effect of the performance tune you’re running.
Hook me up I’ve been trying to get an update for over two months and all I’ve gotten is a list of dealers I’m never stepping foot in again over sheer incompetency and unprofessionalism.
