Hey guys I sold my car and no longer have use for my full airlift system. Less than 2k miles on the setup. I'll ship anywhere in the continental USA. FedEx and PayPal
It's wild that this is a sticking point. Look at 5 and 6 year old bmws already getting manual swaps. This also completely disregards the production numbers of manual cars which are far less than that of their auto counterparts
It doesn't really make any sense now. It's simply a collection of information until it can affordable be put into practice by someone willing to attempt it.
I don't know how many times exaclty I need to reaffirm this. However, the value of these cars now will not remain the value. They will depreciate. As they depreciate a larger spectrum of modifications will become common place.
Feast your eyes on this thing... This is the OE diagram of the shifter assembly for the manual cars. Which means no more modifying 135i parts for the linkage. I'll add all these part #'s onto the initial post today, the small clips and bushings I'll leave unlisted but I'll leave this diagram...
This is a good thought, but EAG already has a manual car it was put together before the supra came manual. They spoofed the ECU to read that it's parked which is fairly common with auto to manual swaps.
Seems like such an odd thing in this thread to have a problem with. Instead of being excited about different options and sharing open source information with people.
Feel free to read quote above. Just because the information isn't valuable to you currently doesn't mean it won't be to somebody in the future when tackling something like this. It's not a thread to say it's better, or you should, or that it's currently an affordable thing to do. As the cars age...
For the cost it would be so much easier to just sell the auto and buy the manual.
This statement is true now but not future proofed for later. This platform will exist well beyond the bounds of values currently
Background:
Good afternoon everyone. Some of you may recognize my username for putting C8 wheels on my car (which was highly frowned upon by some.) But with this said I have alot of background in things that are much more mechanically heavy and semi-complex in nature. I'm going to use this...
After long last the final product... is ready tires are mounted on the car. Bags are in and tight. All airlines are ran and airtank is here just need to be installed and I have full control of the vehicles height. Here you go boys. More professional pictures to come
