I usually get "Is that YOUR Supra?" from people, usually in parking lots.
Just last week I was dropping off some Amazon returns at the UPS store and the kid at the counter asked "Is that your Supra?" How he saw the car in the parking lot from his position at the desk inside the store is beyond...
If my Supra went tango uniform today I'd be looking at another Supra. Failing that, I'd be back looking at the same cars I was cross-shopping when I was looking at my Supra the first time around (M240i, Cayman, and perhaps the new Z if they ever make more than four of them a year).
When I bought my 2000 Prelude back in the summer of 1999, I remember going to a Toyota dealer to look at the new (at that time) Celicas. The dealer I went to had no new Celicas, but way in the back tucked away behind the dealership building they had a new black on black 1999 Supra. I don't...
Most normies demand at minimum the illusion of a back seat. I know so many people who would never in a million years even consider a car without a back seat as a daily... and these people have no kids, no dogs, literally nothing to go into that phantom back seat... they just think a two seat car...
Count me among those who need the climate control dials to match.
I also need the passenger seat position to match the driver seat position, and every time someone gets in my car and moves the seat I feel my eye twitch a bit.
Last year they built all the A91-MTs first, then moved on to the regular cars. I expect that is what is happening now.
To reiterate my own quest to get my car, I put in deposits summer of 2022 for a model year 2022, which became a 2023. I didn't get my allocation until November, and didn't take...
The way things are going in the economy on any given day you regularly see people buying way more car than they can afford, then hitting a life-altering event like losing a job, having a baby, or even dying themselves. "Toys" like second vehicles or sports cars are also typically the first thing...
I've owned almost every make of smartphone you can have (yes I had a windows phone). I had the original iPhone, the original Google android phone, a Dell android phone (if anyone even remembers those), two Samsung Galaxy phones, a windows phone, hell I even had a Blackberry back in the days...
I did the opposite... I coded out the start stop function and left sport mode as the button press option. I still like it like this as others have said I'll leave my neighborhood in normal mode to keep the exhaust quiet then push the sport button the second I'm clear of the houses.
I didn't Bimmercode Sport to be always on, but like 90% of the time I'm driving it is in sport mode. I really only have used normal mode when I know I'm going to be driving longer range and want the gas mileage.
I have hearing damage, the someone-turn-on-a-fan-its-too-quiet eeeeeeeeeeee kind. MP3's played over my phone seem perfectly fine to me and even if you played me something that was supposed to be mega lossless perfect I probably couldn't tell the difference anyway.
Plus I like to roll down my...
I come from a long lineage of fuddy-duddies and truckhavers. When I got my license at 16 I was given two options: get a job and buy your own car, or drive grandpa's spare truck when he isn't using it. Grandpa's spare truck could do 60 if it fell off a cliff, and it liked to not start if the...
Technically my Supra is my only car, but my wife also has a car that I have regular access to (Mazda CX-30)... so it kind of isn't my "only" car.
I also don't drive that much. So for me it is like having a second / weekend car that is also an only car.
I wonder why it is seemingly so hard for the web team to copy-paste the like 95% of things that are identical to the previous model year into the new model year's template.
