I've experience this as well but it doesn't happen too often. I usually just select 2nd and go back into first. I also noticed the gauge will flash between N and 1st during this, but it will never fully go into first since it seems blocked. Not sure what could be causing this...

I’m a new manual driver and I’ve experienced this as well. Basically accelerated and shifted at 5k rpm then once I shifted into second there was that weird rev jump (about 1k rpm). Not sure what happened but I can’t reproduce it either. This was in normal mode.
