Sure. Everybody is entitled to make their own financial decisions. But for $101,000, I think there are much better vehicles out there if long term investment was the end goal.
i just find it ironic that toyota advertised this car as a tuner platform but barring 2020s (and some select 2021s), you have to go through a lot of hoops and hurdles to be able to fully tune the car (excluding jb4 and other piggbacks).
Anyone in here think the terrible overall macro economic sentiment will help drive down these mark ups? I can see demand diminishing due to higher interest rates, layoffs, etc. I'd be lying if I told people that the current volatility going on doesn't phase me haha.
Not a fan of mustangs but the s650 mustang, especially the dark horse, will likely blow the doors off a stock Supra in almost every performance metric (on paper). But I'm a sucker for the Supra so would still take the Supra haha
Not to mention, the ZF 8 speed is tuner friendly since it's proven to be able to handle huge power. We still don't know how robust this manual transmission is when it comes to power levels that the aftermarket will bring. I can also say I'm definitely not biased towards the Automatic, as I put...
not sure. i keep hearing conflicting replies on this topic from both the media and forum members on here that claim to know some corporate insiders. One view was MY2023 is the last year, which would be a shame.
This thread made me ask my sales manager to update my preferences to include stratosphere blue (originally only black or white). The blue looks awesome.
IF a new nismo version of the Z is released, do you guys think Toyota will reply with a GRMN model? At this point, I wonder if a nismo version will even outperform a 3.0 model lol
As an owner of a 2020 M2C, I can second the rattling. At the end of the day, it's the lowest on the totem pole of all ///M cars and the quality of interior will reflect that. Combine that with a stiff suspension, and things are going to rattle lol. That being said, hard to expect a sports car to...
This is subjective, but one con of the supra is it will never sound as good as the gt350. And this is coming from a guy who isn't into muscle cars and would take the supra over the mustang anyday.
No allocation for me yet, but pretty hyped about this car regardless. Haven't felt excited about any current product offerings from any manufacturer until Toyota announced the Supra was coming with a manual transmission. Congrats on everybody who already secured one.
Another thing to consider is what kind of horsepower/torque that this new MT/clutch can handle. I'm assuming we don't have good information on this yet.
am I the only one thinking he can easily just store the luggage case vertically rather than horizontally? I really wasn't sure if this was exaggerated or not.
I'm just hopelessly waiting for toyota to announce a GRMN supra with s58 w/ manual. I wouldn't even mind if it was just the 473 hp state of tune like the base G80/82 m3/m4s haha.
