    Happened to me once before, JB4 w/ Map 2 on. Put it in park and turned it off and on which made it go away. Not sure what caused it since it never happened again after that. Are you stock?

    Have you looked at the FI Exhaust? They replace the stock downpipe, but it should give you a good idea of the valves open/closed. Skip to 8:00 mins

    It's based off the 3.0 so they use the same parts.

    Yeah on normal mode the valve will be closed. Turning on sport mode will open up the valve and will make the car have a few subtle pops.
