I tried to make the car as close to a stock JDM Silvia as possible, similar to what you've done with your SC/Soarer project (big fan). The SR20 really wakes the car up; I can only imagine how this car would have competed...

I really wish Nissan would make another S chassis, although at one point Nissan was losing money on each 240sx they sold... I've spent a considerable amount of time restoring my S14. I'm glad to see the light bar design element is making a comeback!

That looks pretty clean for a modern car... No conflicting body lines. I truly think the current 86/BRZ design will age well. I really hope the new one looks like this. If a larger engine is in the picture, it might make for a fun swap on the current gen (much like the 2.5 block swap on the NC...

I would gladly pay a premium for a factory equipped manual; I would do a lot for a manual, actually. Although the AT is amazing (from my test ride), a stick shift is the only way I can have this car in my possession.

Not trying to pick fights here, but Harris was on bad terms with Ferrari after bad mouthing one of their cars. They wouldn't lend him test cars after that. To say that he fanboys over those brands wouldn't be honest considering he did speak out against them and dealt with the repercussions.

Haha I love this story. My friend and I ran into this same situation, albeit with an Audi dealership. They wouldn't let my friend test drive a RS5 even though he went with the intent to buy, so he went home, picked up his father's 911 Turbo, and drove straight back to the dealership. The look on...

I don't think they would let a 23 year old like me test drive one, even if I roll up in my BRZ with a good credit score :( I feel like dealerships will discount me due to my age. Oh well, better start bugging the guys at cars and coffee who will eventually have them.

You aren't the only one... I love BMW's I6. Although I hated working on my mothers N series X5 (electric water pump's service window is the size of my fist, really?), they have oodles of torque and the noise is intoxicating. I was excited when the FT86 project had a subaru engine with toyota...

Sad but true... Toyota's D4-S injection system is rather exceptional. Mine has been mildly boosted for half its life on the stock fuel system.
