  1. aFe Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake w/Pro DRY S Filter *** brand new *** - Price Lowered

No it has not been sold. However I forgot to update this thread.... the intake is for a 2020 only. AFE says it does not work 100% properly on a 2021+ due to the manifold change from 2 ports to 6 ports.
  2. Electronics Going Haywire After Battery Died

Thanks for the feedback, I'm good. I've done extensive research on storing a car including talking to engineers and classic car owners who store their 20, 30, 50 year old cars. Once thing consistent about the subject is that everyone has an opinion. I appreciate your comments.
  3. Electronics Going Haywire After Battery Died

Sounds like water got inside something from the snow and is causing issues. I have a 2020, I don't drive my car from Thanksgiving to mid-April because of winter, we get about 80 inches of snow on average. Car is covered and stored in my non-heated garage. I have never put a battery tender on...
  4. Low Coolant warning, Which coolant?

I bought the HT-12 from a BMW dealership. They should have it in stock.
  5. Updated Oil Pump Procedure

You do not need any software updates to swap out the oil pump. I had mine done earlier this year. I have an unlocked DME on my 2020 from factory. I haven't even done any of the recalls. They just swap the pump and you're done. Nothing needs to be done with the software, won't effect your unlock...

  8. Should I Mod My 2022 Supra A91-CF or Keep It Stock for Value?

First, what's wrong with this forum, why do many of you have to make snarky remarks, rude comments, laughing at what year someone owns, arguing with others.... seems like a bunch of hate filled liberals in this forum. Pretty sad. Yes I have a 2020, what does that have to do with anything, I...
  9. Updated oil pump?

Sorry to hear that. I had 1 month left in the 5 years, but when I looked at my paperwork again I had forgot that I bought the extended warranty which was 8 years. I figured it's a first year relaunch, with BMW, better be covered. It was $1975 extra, but when I bought the car during the pandemic...
  10. Should I Mod My 2022 Supra A91-CF or Keep It Stock for Value?

I didn't break out values by auto vs manual or even special editions. I gave overall values for entire model years. Overall, in general, the 2020, which includes the launch edition, will value higher than the 2023 all models combined. Yes there are always segments were a special model, like the...
  11. Should I Mod My 2022 Supra A91-CF or Keep It Stock for Value?

I follow car value and car collector’s trends…. here are my 2 cents. If you’re talking about selling in 3, 5, 7 years then mod away. You’ll always be able to find some kid who will buy your modded car. Just don’t expect to get the money back you put into it. You shouldn’t have any problem...
  12. Updated oil pump?

My guess is they don't know how to run the check. They probably don't know it's supposed to go to 100%. They run it, it stops at 23% or whatever (mine was 16%) and then it says Oil Level OK, so they think it's ok. Most Toyota dealerships are clueless about this car, even 5 years later. If you...
  13. bimmercode - which car

Ok cool. Thanks for the response.
  14. bimmercode - which car

When I got my Supra in summer of 2020 by September I had bimmercode installed and made a bunch of changes. At that time the Supra in the app did not have some of the options we wanted, so like everyone else I used the BMW Z4 as the car. Haven't coded anything since. I didn't not do anything...
  15. Updated oil pump?

Stinks that it took over a month for you to get this resolved, but at least you were without the car for only 5 days. My car was in the dealer for 16 days to get mine fixed. My dealer, off the recommendations of the BMW techs who ultimately did the work, told me I should not drive it, not sure...
  16. Bench unlock - conflicting info

Ok cool, I'll just use the check on MHD first and see what it says, and then just give a flash a try. If it fails I'll order the unlocker. I did a quick google search and read if the flash fails that it would stop at like 3-5% and then you'd have to flash back to stock before unlocking, but...
  17. Bench unlock - conflicting info

Two follow up questions...... What if MHD says I need a bench unlock, I buy the unlocker, run it, but I was already unlocked from factory and I actually didn't need an unlock? Does it just fail, does it mess anything up? What happens if I use MHD to flash and I do need a bench unlock but...
  18. Bench unlock - conflicting info

Nice. Ya that's the way to go. Especially since my local shop wants $500 for a bench unlock. The unlocker software and a wifi dongle is cheaper. Thanks for the info.
  19. Bench unlock - conflicting info

Ya I was a little turned off by BM3 when I couldn't get it to work. I did look at MHD but didn't try it, but it's at the top of my list now. Before the Supra I had an STI that I did all the flashing on using Tactrix and worked with a tuner on an etune, so I'm familiar with flashing. If I can do...
