low coolant

Curious to know if anyone else has had this problem since I haven't seen many others mention it. Apparently water pump leaks aren't uncommon on the B58, according to a close friend who's a technician at BMW. I've gotten the 'coolant low' warning on iDrive twice before. Once at around 15k miles...
