I recently installed the REDTIGER F17 Plus in my supra provided by RedTiger and here’s how it’s performing in real-world driving use.
The box arrives with all three cameras (front, rear, cabin), wiring, memory card and app connectivity.
Installation:
- I had the F17 Plus professionally installed on my Supra and paid around $300 for the job. The shop mentioned it was a bit trickier than usual since the Supra’s wiring layout is more like a BMW’s, but they did an excellent job running all the cables cleanly and mounting everything perfectly. They even sent me some photos during the install, and everything looked super tidy. No issues at all with the camera or wiring after setup. it worked flawlessly right out of the gate.
Video Quality:
For my drives (day + night) the front and cabin cams delivers nice footage, I’m able to make out plates and interior detail even in low light. On the rear side, the camera does a good job in daylight, but in full darkness (especially with window tint) the clarity drops just a little bit. If you’re using this for content (tracks, car meets, street) it does the job. Just temper expectations for worst-case low-light rear performance.

Features:
- Built-in GPS + speed/location overlay is a big win.
- WiFi + phone app makes grabbing clips to share on Instagram (or for insurance) super easy which I love.
- The parking-/park-monitor mode is a nice plus. good for street parking or lot surveillance but just know it does require the hard-wire kit or equivalent power setup if you want full 24/7 coverage.
