A few weeks ago, we installed the Rexpeed Black Suede Steering Wheel onto our current shop car build. This was a part we were very excited to try out because it utilizes all the factory OEM trim, bolts and harnesses. In addition, it is a fantastic price competitor coming in at $350 and offers a multitude of stitching/leather-ring colors, and most importantly, it's an easy 1-2 hour install!

Our Thoughts -> We were very impressed with the quality of the product right out the box. The overall finish was like OEM, the suede feels great in your hands, and it doesn't feel cheap. Further, we found no blemishes or defects/tears/loose seams in the stitching as well.

During the install, we ran into zero issues and the product fit, as well as finish, was OEM. Upon assembly, we reused all factory bolts, harnesses, and trim with no fitment issues. Overall, we are super happy with the end result and would recommend the Rexpeed Black Suede Steering Wheel to those looking for a quality, economical steering wheel upgrade!

Alcantara is a brand name of a suede-like, synthetic alternative (other versions of synthetic suede exist, namely microsuede or ultrasuede). Meaning, this is what you would consider to be Alacantara.

Oh. That's different, then. I saw "suede" which I stay away from since it's impossible to keep clean.
Is "leather ring" the centering stripe?

Yes the ring is the center stripe.

What issues have you had cleaning suede, especially black suede? Any type of suede/leather cleaner works great and nothing will stain on black. There are also water and stain proofing option to apply prior to install.
