Hello friends of the forum, my situation is the following:

I am in the Dominican Republic and I have a Toyota Supra GR 3.0 2021 which in the process of importing from California USA to my country the only key that it had was lost and now the car is parked and not runs witout key.

The Toyota dealer in my country does not support the vehicle since they say that they do not import that model to the country.

I have bought a new key on eBay, but no local locksmith has been able to program it.

I have access to scanners and interfaces so that someone is available to program it remotely.

Also ive heard that there are options with BMW dealers where they sell the plug and play key.

Please if someone can help me / give me light with this issue.

I think the only people that can do this is the dealer, and of course you have to prove that you own the car. If it was easy to do with an aftermarket kit, then just about anyone could steal a car, since the VIN is visible to the outside.

It's remarkable that the key fob was lost, since it had to be present when the car was shipped, and unloaded from the boat.

Even if you could contact the seller of the car, I don't think they could get a new fob from the dealer without the car being present to be programmed to accept it.

I'm really struggling to figure out how this can be done without shipping the car back to the USA. :(

Unless it is different outside of the US. Toyota does not carry or have any keys for these vehicles so you will have to get a Z4 bmw key programmed to the vehicle, however, unique circumstances of you having NO keys is different and honestly if the dealership won't work on it for you I have no idea where you can go get whatever parts they need pulled and sent out to have keys programmed again.

It's a whole different ball game typically if you have NO keys for these push button starts now and usually something has to be pulled and either sent in somewhere or replaced and then programmed with a couple new fobs.

I may possibly be wrong with these cars but that is how it worked the last place I worked and at my current workplace if someone loses both fobs for their car

Try this company, will have to send them some modules but they are the only ones i know outside dealers that can help AKL vehicles.

VEPro - Vehicle Electronic Professionals and Module Programming

Speak with Yaser Jafar he is the contact that has done these before.

(I work in the automotive locksmithing industry he is the only person I know dealing with it)

Contact your local BMW dealership.
The Supra is mostly a BMW G29 Z4 underneath and is using Z4 keys and electronics.

Thanks all for the information and support, the final solution was in the toyota of hollywood, florida. we did it trought a friends workshop that has a code with them. and they ordered a precut and pre-programmed key linked with the car vin number that works plug and play.

they give us an estimated arrival time of 15 to 35 days.
the total cost before the workshop code discount was USD$ 868.00

now we are waiting for the key to arrive and reship to my country.

as they adviced me, the next part of the process is put the car near the down right part of the steering wheel for a moment and the car should link they key and engine starts.

i will stay in touch to share all the process.

thanks to all that take a minute to share.

Please keep us updated, I’m not saying that’s incorrect, but all our information here is even with a precut and pre coded key, the vehicle won’t open programming mode until a registered key is put to the antenna first. It’s what prevents me from saying walking through a parking lot writing some VINs down and then just driving off with the car. BUT my company doesn’t deal with the newer BMW systems. Everything shows AKL (All Keys Lost) requires FEM and DEM along with new key to be coded together. But I hope this goes well for you.

@gixxersixxerman, you are correct, in the toyota dealer they requested all the documents that proves the ownership of the vehicle such as USA title, purchase invoice and payment receipts, export documents to dominican republic and the new dominican republic title.
