Part of my job involves e-commerce marketing... basically scrolling through Amazon to see how other brands design their listings and storefronts.
And of course I don't short myself the chance to window shop for myself, haha.
My history displays an extreme bias towards black cars with tinted taillights. I don't care if it's "played out" or"overdone." When a 3-year-old wants mommy's car to look like the Batmobile dropping him off at school, the kid is gonna get a damn Batmobile.
However, I didn't want to struggle with removing the taillights to paint them like my previous builds, so I had no real intentions of tinting them until I found this set of tinted "covers" on Amazon. A cheap enough price for me to give them a shot since anything can be returned for any reason ?

Pleasantly surprised with the quality and fitment for the price.
The taillights are attached with a full seal of 3M double sided tape on the inside.
The reflectors just pop in with clips like the OEM ones
Passes legal light distance requirements. Off (top), on (middle), brake lights (bottom)
Doesn't look too different from my previous painted sets

And my R6 that is currently collecting dust in my garage while I've had 2 hand surgeries this year. This tail light isn't painted, I believe it was just a tinted plastic:
