Used Manifold and LPFP?

I am a fairly new owner and have little prior experience modifying cars. I plan to eventually go to a big turbo wanting around 800whp. In that, I have been keeping an eye on the market for intake manifolds and Pi systems and have come across a deal for an ams performance manifold (typically 3700$) with the PI fuel rail and a LPFP upgrade in a part sell-off from a heavily modified 340 for a good price. What should I look out for when buying used? Is it worth buying used, or should I cough up the extra money for new? Going to look at it Sunday.
