I am having a hard time matching a good tire combo with the Apex SM10 rims in 18x10 +30 front, 18x11 +40 rear. Following the fitment guide I can't find a street/track setup that uses a 305 in the rear without modifications. I would prefer to run a 275/285 up front and a 305 in the rear. I am expecting to run at least a 5mm spacer up front. I would prefer to run Nitto NT555RII.

I have a dedicated set of Weldstar beadlocks for the rear with MT ET Street R, so the Apexes are really just for the street when it isn't raining.

Is it possible to run this combination on stock suspension?

305 should fit fine in rear with 18x11 +40

What makes you think they won't? What modifications are you referencing?

According to apex a 275/30 should fit the front without a spacer with the offset you have. I have the same wheel and plan to run that size CRSs which are beefy. I have a bit more camber so hoping I will not rub

Those should fit without issues on stock suspension. The times that I have seen folks needing a small 3mm spacer in the rears x11 on 305s is usually track setups that are driven hard hence constant compression on the suspension which makes the tire slightly rub the liner. The fronts should not need any spacers either being a x10 and meant for the street. I run the SM10RS 18x11s squared but have the HKS springs. If you want the extra weight savings I highly recommend them, my set wrapped in Contis ECF 295s is the same weight as the stock set with under 2k miles at the time fwiw.

Thanks for the replies! The fitment guide says modifications are required but it seems this fitment should be plug & play.
