Hybrid Turbos for the A90

Been trying to find some more info on rebuilt turbos before I pull the trigger on a certain brand, wanted to see if anyone can chime in. I know the big dawgs at Pure run the scene for drop in rebuilds, but I'm curious about others like Driftmotion, TTE and Tomioka.

I cannot find numbers anywhere for those 3 (which I get would be a "then don't buy em" sign but meh you never know).

I really am heavily considering Driftmotion stage 3 for the price point of $1,600~ does anyone have this turbo and have some info to share?

I spoke with Driftmotion at length a couple times about their turbos. They are better known in the Mk4 community than Mk5. Very, very generally speaking, their stage 3 seems broadly comparable to a Pure700. I don't think anyone here is running a Driftmotion unit. Everyone goes for Pure but they have their fair share of problems.

My suggestion: call Aaron at Driftmotion at 909-753-7385. They are good people and are very willing to get on the phone with you to talk about their products.

He meant to say Pure Quality has shit the bed. There have been a ton of Pure turbos that have failed recently. I know of 10 or 12 personally.
