Leaning toward the GX550 Overtrail+, myself.
That’s what I have floating in the Atlantic. I think the Overtail non-plus is actually the better buy if you can live without the little niceties - the only issue for me is that I really wanted the Mark Levinson speakers and you can only get them with the + if going with the overtrail.
twins but not really. mine is stock, brand new motor, new paint, 314k miles, and still on the stock enkeis. got it due to constant flooding here in miami. yours is goals man!I have mixed opinions on it. Part of me loves certain elements like the rear quarter window flowing onto the roof—-very Land Rover-esque, other parts of me hates it. The hood scoop looks like an autozone stick on part. I hate the tail lights but glad they kept the roll down rear window. Some of the sculpted body work on the side profile is a little overdone in my opinion. I’m sure it’ll grow on me over time. And they’ll look a lot better built out and modified like all Toyota trucks do.
Until then, I’ll enjoy my 25 year old 3rd gen 4Runner that just got back to me after getting a shit ton of work done to it over the past couple of weeks.
2000 SR5 with a 6 cylinder engine with a TRD supercharger, 5 speed manual transmission and leather interior thats been in my family since the day my stepdad bought it brand new with no miles on the odometer. 216,000 miles without a single major issue and just routine/regular Maintenance.
Having a manual MKV Supra and a manual 3rd gen 4Runner has been an absolute dream combo and I’m super grateful and fortunate.
