For those with mkiv's, will you be selling yours to get a mkv?

Had a Soarer. Meh. The looks don't do much for me.
To each their own. It's one of the most beautiful car shapes in the world to me. And so is the MKIV's in a different way.

My SC is has the earlier rear bumper and side skirts but with an early type SC400/Soarer 2.5GT style flat factory wing and a 97-00 factory front bumper. That combination is the perfect balance for the design of the car. Nothing designed on a computer. All clay model design that the engineers had to conform to. But it is a visual style from a very different era of automotive design. Either it appeals to someone or it doesn't... and that's fine. That was the intention of the designers at Calty.

Weirdly I've actually encountered some people who felt that the Supra MKIV is an ugly exterior design... which is unbelievable to me. It is a gorgeous and timeless design shape which I find impossible to have negative feelings about.

Count me out on the A100 if they go back to the A80 styling.

In the 90s, A80 is the most aesthetically unappealing out of the five JDM heros- NSX, RX7, Supra, 3000GT and GTR.

The A80 looks bloated and looks ordinary next to the other 4s. I test drove a 280hp JDM version back in 98 and it doesn't feel as sporty as the 245hp MR2 GTS so I ended up buying the MR2 instead. Looks heaps sportier too. My friend had a 3000GT and we raced each other quite often lol
Maybe Im just not a fan of old dinosaurs but all those cars are your list need a lil something something in order to look decent in this day and age.

As promised - excuse the mess and how filthy the A90 is.

A80 is lowered on HKS Hipermax IV, A90 is still standard height.
What's the takeaway here?

Same with this pic, taller hood line and roof.

They are closer to being parked the same distance, though. Better, though the angle makes it harder to tell.

All pics are irrelevant as we have measurements from both, I guess.

If your biggest gripe is over wheels and drop then thats an easy fix. Its the clean and simple body lines that give all of these cars a timeless look imo.
