There's just so much wrong with this backend. I can't even fathom. They have a cat butthole where the license plate would go? They went with single pipe exhaust but didn't even source an after market piece of plastic to cover the gap? They put a third break light just sort of slap dash in the middle. And what in heavens is on either side of the whip? Never a fan of big wings BUT I imagine this one is functional and matched to the front aero so I give it a pass. But wow -- what an ugly car.
Exactly this car looks like the ultimate ricer dream car

I mean, the Supra in general already is the "ultimate ricer dream car". 🤣

Form follows function in a vehicle designed for actual competitive racing. It's not a show car, even though it seems show cars are constantly trying to imitate race cars. 🙄

QD hookup for air jacks.

I'll give you that one. I suppose one could argue that a cover would increase drag, but I doubt it would have any real effect.

They put a third break light just sort of slap dash in the middle.
Rain light, must be positioned on the rear facia of the car per rulebook.

And what in heavens is on either side of the whip?
Uh, other race cars?

Never a fan of big wings BUT I imagine this one is functional and matched to the front aero so I give it a pass.
The wing is pretty much a requirement to be competitive these days.

But wow -- what an ugly car.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Form following function is always sexy in my book.

The regular Supra comes stock with a bag of rice.

This has been in car culture longer than anyone on this forum has been alive. The ricer term has at least been around for 25 years.

so.. generally, yes; accurately, no:
obviously where i live will have a big factor on what i see as a "trend", right?
which were: "hellaflush" era, nostalgia era, OEM+ era, and now track setup for non track car era..

do i make sense?

edit: RICE will live on forever lolol

Also touching on the race car vs show car topic.. I firmly believe that most 'Show Cars' are not Race Cars...but every Race Car IS a Show Car, even if it's kinda beat up. People are still drawn to look at them, and the battle scars are their own kind of patina.

Very philosophical.

I agree. 😆
