That is for the wheel only. No buttons, electronics, trim or the airbag. I priced it out to do it myself and its about $2k for everything straight from BMW
For the basic Msport wheel out of the Z4, it should be cheaper, no? The one in the pic is the alcantara performance version. CF paddles and all.

Definitely will make a huge difference on the interior styling !! Black on black suede will go nice with the car.

Unless I missed it, I still haven't seen anyone clarify if all the buttons work (adaptive CC, radio controls, etc) and if everything is pnp. Also, where does the vibration motor go?

I love that they made that bottom center section look way less stupid. I have no idea why it’s on the factory wheel but it’s awful. And now we can get these with flat bottoms *and* that weird bottom piece modified? Ordering right now. Looks great.

It's on the factory wheel because that's the one that Toyota picked from the parts bin provided by BMW. Partially because BMW apparently limited them to "outdated" versions... here is a wheel from a 2017 320i.. look familiar? (the climate/radio controls should also look familiar)

And here is one from a 2022 M5 CS:

(which is what the core of this wheel is I assume).

While I agree that the one we got isn't very attractive and the replacements are definitely better looking... it's not nearly as bad as some I've owned in the past:

That weird section is where the vibration motor is.

Whirl has been very responsive on IG.. usually always answering within 12 hrs or so. I had to verify 100% which kind of an airbag I have and if I have the vibration motor. Both things were confirmed and everything should be plug and play. As far as I understand ALL buttons are functional except for the M1/M2 buttons.
I will upload pictures and have more info when the wheel comes in and I do the install in my garage.

I really would like to know if the M1 and M2 buttons are addressable on CANBus. It would be nice for linelock and scramble.
