Anyone attending the vintage races at COTA and registering for the associated “Hagerty Cars & Caffeine” car show in early November?

I noticed the Corvette club plans to have their own car corral and wondered if any Supra owners are planning to attend.

Debating it, I would be coming from DFW.
Full disclosure. I live in Austin so it’s easy for me to get out there.

I’ve gone to watch he vintage races every year for the past several years. It’s my favorite racing of the year but I’ve always gone strictly to watch the racing. I had no idea they host a car show until I noticed the corvette club promoting their car corral.

It’s also my kids’ favorite weekend at COTA since they enjoy walking through the pit/trailer areas and getting to see the old cars up close (daughter loves Mini Coopers/smaller cars, son loves anything fast, and I like mid-60’s hot rods/pony cars since my dad/brother and I raced/drove a ‘66 Mustang when I was younger).

All said, I’m not sure it’s worth the drive for just the car show but the show registration includes entry to watch the racing. I was just curious if anyone else was heading out that way since I don’t often run into other Supra MKV owners around town.

PS. Thanks for the reply! It’ll be interesting to see if many MKV’s are heading out there.

Thanks for the heads up. We've always wanted to go do down for these days. Never really worked out. It may this year. I love the idea of older interesting stuff racing.

Man! I'm off that weekend and will head up from Victoria! After MotoGP weekend and F1 this past Saturday, a little 2 hour drive is nothing and I love going to COTA for anything motor sports...
