What did you do to your Supra today?

Pretty eventful time for the Supra. Installed 15MM BM Spacers front and rear, CTS Turbo Intake, and the good ol' JB4.

Colleague of mine made the comment that it looks lifted with stock suspension on the spacers, so now I am thinking of doing springs next, so S/O to him ?

Got any pics from the side with the spacers on? I'm stock height too, and also considering spacers.

Agree! Nice pads no doubt. But I took that extra money (in my mind) and bought a set of Apex wheels on sale. 18x11 square for track season. Definitely wider, lots of tire choices, and 10mm spacers all around. No longer “needed” with my Ohlins but does look nicer ?. And inexpensive

After a year of ownership, I finally washed the car. I then followed up with a spray down with Turtle Wax Ceramic Detail Spray. The car looks great, IMO.

Put some spacers on there so you can roll hard. Put some $1,000 brake pads on there that are IN STOCK to be a real stunta.

Guess I am one of the ding dongs that loves the $1000 pad sets...

Speaking of brake pad availability, I can't find the Project Mu pads in stock anywhere. I killed mine at The Glen earlier this week and I'm doing Lime Rock on 9/11.

CSG is just way too much money.

I’ve met other guys that amateur race and trust Rock’s opinion greatly. You definitely can brake harder and longer. If I was in a pinch ? I’d bite the bullet and buy em.

Have you considered trying Hawk DTCs Wes?

I might have to, but the mini-vacation to Watkins Glen really took a big bite out of my track funds.

I am definitely looking at DTCs. I'm thinking the 60/60 or 60/30. Any vendor suggestions?

"worth it" that is subjective...
they are unarguably the best. Mu 999 are the closest. I have run almost every pad available including oem, Hawk, Circo, Mu and bargain tire rack ones.

Only you can answer is paying $500 more a set worth the ability to out brake or brake at the 3.5 instead of the 4 board?
They last amazing. So that balances it a bit.
rear pads last me almost 30 track days
front pads 10-12
This weekend will be my 29-30 track days for 2023 and I have 5 days already booked in Sept.

I am NOT Mr. Ding but well above average and very aggressive.

I think honestly the Mu pads are the best bang for the buck if tracking often. I am cheap in lots of ways... but pads I am happy to pay for the best.
