Can anyone actually walk me through the steps in Bimmer code to set the battery specifications? For the life of me I can't figure out how to get to the "front electronics" to change the value.

Whelp, my battery finally gave up the ghost during my post-Ohlins install alignment and I'm buying the PowerTex. I just disconnected the battery and did a complete rehab with the CTEK last week while I was installing the coilovers, but 3 hours in diagnostic mode killed it.

My rear toe arms aren't very stable and like to walk after a couple thousand miles. Every 2-3 months or so I have to realign my car. Not a big deal because I own hubstands. YMMV, sample size of one, I didn't stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night, etc.

The CSG pads are AWFUL about this. The most aggressive brake dust I've ever seen. I made the mistake of not cleaning my track wheels after my last event last Autumn and they're caked in a dirt/brake dust/iron amalgam that required HARD scrubbing to remove. They still kick a$$ at the track though.

I always change out my brake fluid and oil before the season starts so I'm on fresh lube. I change my brake fluid 2X per year, before and after "track season" or every 6K miles. I use Castrol SRF because it's common and deals with high humidity well. I've been changing my oil every 3-5k...

I have 40k miles and over 20 track days. I've noticed a few more squeaks and rattles, but the car is holding up extremely well. I've gone to motor oil, brake fluid, and rear differential fluid more suited for the track, and I change fuilds on a more aggressive schedule.

Wish I could have gone with you guys. I'm going to try to make it to Palmer on 5/5.
