MHD Unlocker

Unlocked my 2021 Supra Premium today with MHD Unlocker. It had the pre 6/2020 ECU. Couple of tips
1. Don't look for the LED lights. None of mine lit up even during the process of unlocking
2. Make sure that you have the MHD software loaded (MHG F+G)
3. You will need to have already purchased an MHD license
4. Check for DME codes which then registers the ECU with the license
5. You can finally remove the plugs from the ECU and hook up the unlocker
6. Make sure that the ground is firmly attached as it could be a disaster if the unit loses power during the process (I hooked mine up to a spare battery)

Which ports on the dme am I supposed to connect to?

No keep it off

Keep it off. You have to disconnect the ECU.

One question I have…

Does anyone know if this unlocker is generic or fixed for MHD only? I was just wondering if I say…. had a mate (obviously, with early ECU) who wanted BM3 that they could borrow my unlocker?

Since you are required to have MHD license, I take that as MHD only.

I bought the Mission Performance unlocker, that way I could unlock my ecu for MHD, but not be tied to it only, if other friends needed to use it (Mission Performance requires license per vehicle, but at extremely discounted rate).
