I’ve recently received notifications for a “Left side marker malfunction” and noticed the amber side marker like on the driver headlight is out. I replaced the DRLs and used the proper thermal paste and issue persist.

I also have a “Left high beam malfunction” notification too. the high beam will flicker on, turn off, then give this notification. I would try to turn the high beam back on but there is no response. This reoccurs after every start up.

I went to toyota but the tech apparently has never seen this issue and would need to diagnose it. i’ve tried researching it and there’s not much information on these issues. I would assume I need to replace the whole headlight unit since everything is internal. i’d rather ask around and see if someone knows then send it to the shop and spend money when i can replace and code the headlight myself. Has anyone heard or know what a fix would be?
