Expecting it to be the same color is a mistake, very good chance the color of a new hood won't match a 5 year old car perfectly.
Installed the clutch pedal stop, removed 2 spacers and it feels great with my short shifter.

No shop is perfect, just human nature, but when a shop makes things right and is honest about what's going on, then mistakes are forgivable.

Do the zip ties have sharp teeth? Was looking at that wondering if the zip ties would grind away at the hose over time with constant movement.

Nope. I have a weighted shift knob and it would feel different anyway, even with a new short shifter. But it feels firm and notchy. Everything feels and works the way you’d expect a short shifter and new bushings would.
