Does anybody have experience with Toyota's digital rear view mirror (available on RAV 4 and maybe other vehicles)? How difficult would it be to install this on the Supra? It seems like it could improve rear visibility greatly.

I thought it might be helpful to post any information in one place regarding why launch edition Supras are still being held by Toyota. It was one thing to wait for vehicles in port to be released around a common date (July 22?) but it is quite another thing to have vehicles held well after that...

According to the owners manual, spark plugs should replaced every 24 months. Doesn't that seem a very short time? The manual also says the spark plugs in Korea, Mexico and South America should be replaced every 60 months. Why would there be such a long difference?

Are they planning to ship them from the ports on the 22nd or have them at dealers on the 22nd?

What is the significance of the two digits immediately preceding LW in the serial number? The first characters are all WZ1DB4C followed by these two digits, followed by LW and the sequence number.

Some launch editions were on a ship that arrived June 12 and are scheduled for delivery to dealers next week.

I think that in Eastern states, some vehicles will be delivered to customers by the first week in July.

POS VETT - How did you estimate your launch number from the VIN number? If a VIN is 100 greater than yours, does that mean the launch edition number will also be 100 greater than yours?
