  1. Brake dust from stock pads

There’s a thread on it somewhere here. I know, because I looked it up because I too am being driven nuts by the BMW brake dust. And it’s twice as bad for me as the owner of an M240i as well. Someone useful will hopefully chime in with a definitive answer. There are some good and gooder options...
  2. Why fix the fake vents

You put the t-tops in the wrong place. They’re a little too low.
  3. Landed a 2021 3.0 premium for 7k off msrp

I got a little over $7.5k off my ‘21, but that was with a $1,500 rebate and two days before Christmas. I can’t imagine anything close to that in this market.
  4. Think i can be tuned?

My neighbor is a proctologist so I had him use his endoscope to get my ECU date workout even undoing the clips. Just a little Kentucky Jelly and he can get that thing into any crack, yours or your car’s. Oh, and proctologists enjoy jokes about corn less than you might have guessed.
  5. Think i can be tuned?

I have a 7/20 build date with an ECU that came just after the 6/20 batch (24th or 27th, can’t remember). ?
  6. Official Oil consumption thread: Car excessively burning oil?

That makes sense since there is a valve on one side of the exhaust that isn’t always open.
  7. GR Supra resale values: Is the Supra gonna depreciate like the germans? / Expected Depreciation

I think that’s true (maybe) for private sellers, but not for a trade in. So, it depends.
  8. Worst Dealership Experience Ever

Dealership reached out and offered another $1,500 off.
  9. White Spots on Rear Windshield

Yep. Harder to see with the tint, however.
  10. White Spots on Rear Windshield

I’ll check. In the mean time: https://physics.stackexchange.com/questions/273439/grid-pattern-on-a-car-window-when-viewed-through-polarized-sunglasses
  11. White Spots on Rear Windshield

That's comes from tempering the glass. You can see it more so with polarized sunglasses and when looking at certain angles in the sun. It is completely normal. ever look at PPF with polarized lenses? That will really freak you out.
  12. ECU Bricked during Recall Update…

My recall work went fine and the dealership offered my $51k for my car. I said no. That’s more than $2K more than I paid new.
  13. Worst Dealership Experience Ever

Yep, I appreciate what you’re saying. You’re right. The car will sell. It was still a good price.
  14. Worst Dealership Experience Ever

You just want to sit on the valve stem.
  15. Worst Dealership Experience Ever

This was not a Toyota transaction, but nonetheless… I’ve been thinking about adding a Z51 to the stable and I thought I found a very good deal. Red 2017 Z51 3LT 3,000 miles. Very nice car. $59k. And it was a CPO, so warranty through 2024. I know the game, I knew they’d want the doc fee. So...
  16. Out with 15” sub and in with 2X12”

Turning off the ASD is a must. When there is a periodic BimmerCode reset, it’s ridiculous. I do like a lot of bass, but what the new set up does is let me have some detail in the bass and capture a broader spectrum of low notes.
  17. Out with 15” sub and in with 2X12”

The enclosure for the 15” was too small to really boom, so I got two JL 12”s in a JL box. The way it sits actually leaves me more room. Thumpalicious.
  18. Dealer Bricked My ECU

I strangely see things the other way around. ?
  19. Shameless Ripoff

That’s where I got mine for right at $49k. They’re not really expecting it. The competition is asking sticker.
