I actually love the seats. It brings me back to my 90's kid days. I'm sure the younger generation isn't a huge fan, but for those of us who are 30+, we love them. (im guessing)
It's definitely more comfortable than some other 'sport' cars i've owned like the M4, M3, 370z, STI, etc.
But its not going to be comfortable like an SUV or a family sedan. I drove in an Acura TLX recently and that was one of the most comfortable sedans i've ever been in.
Ahh okay, thats totally understandable. Before the M4 was warmed up, the shifts from 1-2 could be a little rough at times with the bucking that it had. I learned to just let the car running for a few min before I started driving. I have heard complaints from others on the BMW forums, but I...
It's tough right now finding a decent set of wheels. Looking for something below $4000 that isn't a TE37 (since everyone has them).
I talked to Vossen about a set of 19" gold wheels and they aren't offering gold anymore and its a 3-4 month wait on the other colors.
HRE Flowform wheels have...
Curious as to why you hate them? As a previous E90 and F80 owner with manual transmission for both, I found no issues and thought they were quite solid.
Went to my local dealership to check out a G80 M3, and I gotta say, they look way better in person than they do in pictures. The grill doesn't look ridiculously oversized like it does online.
Might definitely consider one in Brooklyn Gray next year to replace the Supra.
I've just accepted the fact that the Supra is automatic (my first automatic 'sports' car).
$10,000 just to make it manual seems like a bit of a waste to me, unless someone absolutely loves the car and plans to keep it forever. I'd rather take the $10k and put it elsewhere.
Nope, it's holding its voltage perfectly. Heated garage, so it never gets too cold in there. But I did finally take it for a quick drive the other day and it runs perfect. I forgot how much I missed driving it. (been driving an SUV everywhere)
Somewhat off topic, but wasn't there a car show in Texas like a month ago that ended very very badly? I wonder what/if any, repercussions will come of it for future car meets.
I answered 1-3 years.
Will most likely be keeping it until something new catches my eye. Possibly the new G8X M3/M4 in manual if I can get one for well below sticker in a few months.
Planning on keeping mine stock for the most part. I have weather tech floor mats and the paint matched front reflectors I got locally at IND.
No real plans to do much more. If I was still in my 20's, this car would have suspension + wheels + exhaust done by now. I guess this is what its like...
Whoops. I actually meant 'wild body kits' not sure why I typed wide-body. I usually like the builds that are pretty mild with a few tasteful mods. But the full lip kit + wing on this aggressive looking build is usually not something I like, but this one has definitely caught my eye.
