This could just be a one off experience, but my brother bought a Carmax warranty before for his Audi S5. It was an absolute pain in the ass to get them to pay for the work. They kept pushing things off and denying claims.
Cargurus, searching for 3.0 premiums.
There are 4 results found within 150 miles, all claim a car is coming, none have one in stock. I talked to 3 of the dealerships about their ads, all basically said that they're expecting one at some point, but no firm date. Got a buddy trying to get into a...
Trying not to really mod this car too much. The past few cars I've owned, I've gone $30k+ in modifications. The big mistake I make is having an Excel spreadsheet with the prices, date installed etc. Just makes me realize how much money i've wasted lol.
I looked, and there are ZERO brand new Supras available within 150 miles of me.
So the used market is going strong still. Definitely tempting to sell right now, but then i'll be paying and arm & a leg for the next car.
I still dont understand why on the Toyota website where you build the car, the red interior is an option on the 3.0. Before purchasing my white '22 w/ black interior, I called 5-6 dealerships all asking to get me a white w/ red interior.
The few that actually tried and spoke with Toyota USA...
If he lives in Michigan like the location has, then he can't really drive it right now lol. Its been constant single digit temperatures and snow storms.
All we can do it look at our cars and look at the markets.
2022 Supra 3.0 premium
Paid $50k up front.
Wanted to take out a car loan instead of paying it off right away to build the credit even more.
1.9% APR.
Pay about $110 a month for the car
$60 a month for insurance.
I assume this is just for a joke, and no one would actually keep this... right?
I pray thats the case, I'm not ready for the ricer boys to mess up this platform yet.
+1 for A&L. I've been taking my cars to Anthony over at A&L for atleast a decade now even though they're almost an hour away from me. Perfect paint match on parts (A&L is where they paint the IND parts) and reasonably priced.
Like most others have said, the stock exhaust isn't too bad. Even though it looks like it got banged up from the factory with some parts thinner than others.
With that said, I used to have the AWE touring exhaust and I absolutely loved it. Made driving the car much more enjoyable.
He did mention on IG that if they do make a manual Supra, he may come back.
But hopefully he doesn't go widebody. Maybe it's just me getting older, but the OEM+ look is the way to go. I think widebody changes the car way too much.
bought mine at Continental Toyota for MSRP back in September which was a solid price given the market. Finding one at under MSRP is great. 3.0 premium?
& I see that you're in Plainfield, not far from me. I went to HS at Plainfield Central back in the early 00's. Currently out in Lemont area...
I've taken plenty of my lowered cars to a Firestone location by me. The guy working there is a mastermind and a perfectionist, so I love to take my cars there. It's like $200 for a lifetime alignment. So I can go as often as i'd like.
Did you guys get hit with the 8" of snow like we did last night? (thursday night/friday morning)
This weather sure is annoying though. I've got a couple of parts that I want to install, but I have zero motivation to install anything while its single digits outside.
